I see what you did there…. lol. Lobby Cob Salad ain’t nothin’ to fuck with! it was so friggin bomb. My only complaint (you’re gon kill me) is that there was too much bacon. Lobby Restaurant at the Pinnacle Hotel. (North Vancouver, BC)

Avocado, chicken breast, bacon, blue cheese, beet strings, salad, a perfectly soft egg and light fresh dressing. I dont kill salads, it sounds too barbaric.. I mercifully let it succumb into my tummy. There!

Stuffed mushroom caps, jalapeno poppers and fried mozzza.. okay so Viet didnt kill it all but im giving me a B+ for effort.

I have no idea what that is either, but it looked friggin bomb. @Phil graciously sent over his dinner killing all the way from Hong Kong!

Phil: As promised I would take before and after pictures of the meals I’ve had in Asia…unfortunately I’ve been forgetting but not this meal!! Haha Let’s see what we have here…

Japanese wagyu beef ribeye steak w/ a side of veggies & mushroom fried
rice. All home cooked :)

perfect piping hot dishes for a cold rainy night.

Duck Salad – blood orange dressing, walnuts, bomb ass duck.. oh yes, baby.

Killin it as usual.

Kalvin’s is literally the size of my nostril but serves some of the bombest Chinese food. Its never not packed and the service is quick and decent for a super bzz bzz spot. (Vancouver,  BC)

Sunday Familia Dinner done right.

Pork blood hot pot. I’m not into that whole vampire blood bizness but the soup/sauce on top of rice was money!!

Fried tofu with spicy chili salt. sooo good. Crispy, hot and buttery on the inside.

the hot and soup soup was full of pepper… ulcer inducer. But again, it hit the spot and then some.

Vegs x lots of garlic

this was a neat dish. Fish encrusted in fried pieces of tofu.

Oooh yeah. Fried prawns in a mayo/pineapple sauce. Life doesnt get better than this my friend.

A must eat here in vancouver. now go get your Szechuen on!

I know! i was like “what the french toast are you fo rills because that might be the best thing i’ve heard my whole life” when Viet sent me photos of him killing fried avocados. But folks, i have proof that this is indeedy true. Read on..

New spot Siena def hit the spot for us ladies on Friday night. It’s a newer Mediterranean spot on 12th and  Granville, and of course we went to support our homie Long on his new cooking adventure. (Vancouver, BC)

Fried risotto balls.. SO BOMB.

Mushroom Tagliatelle, parmesan, shallots, charred leeks, madeira cream  / Braised Lamb Ravioli, truffled pecorino, mint & orange gremolata

Salumi & Cheese Plate, served with warm olives and grilled focaccia / Polenta Fries, basil almond aioli / Sautéed Kale, fried garlic, chile, lemon, olive oil

Chocolate cake / ice cream x espresso / pear gelato

Not pictured were the 4 bottles of wine also consumed at this delicious dinner. Another happy episode of killin it brought to you by yours truly and co.
